She graduated from the Department of Midwifery at Çukurova University Adana Health School in 2006. In 2009, she completed her master's degree in the Department of Midwifery at the Institute of Health Sciences, Çukurova University, and in 2016, she received her doctorate in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing at Istanbul University.

  She started her academic career as a research assistant in the Department of Midwifery at Çukurova University Faculty of Health Sciences in 2009 and continues in the same department to this day. She also serves as the Deputy Director of the Women's Studies Research and Application Center and the Head of the Midwifery Department at Çukurova University.
